I take a lot of pics in all types of natural settings. I am still a bit confused at everything that my camera (Canon Powershot A530) will do. It does give me many “AUTO” options, but that only focuses on what the camera thinks the focal point is. Also, I cannot add any additional lens’ to my camera. Does anyone have a trick they use to take a pic of something below the water without the glare (my camera is not waterproof). I know that if I could change my lens, I could get a filter, but that isn’t an option. Do you know of something I could rig, or use, or make myself? Also any other tricks that you may have found useful in the undergroth, along water, sunsets, animals, Anything nature. Thanks

I would like to buy waterproof camera and I am in dilemma between PANASONIC LUMIX DMC-TS2 and OLYMPUS STYLUS TOUGH-8010. Please tell me which one do you find better and why.

I’ve been given an a verrrry hard project to do with my childhood swimming and what not¬¬ and my art teacher wants me to take my camera underwater and make a little film. Now i’ve looked for waterproof cases but they cost way too much or if i need to order them they’ll take too long to get to england¬¬ is there an alternative waterproof item or something that i could use instead
p.s don’t be smart and say buy a waterproof camera because i need it for one final piece not forever plus i haven’t the money

I don’t want any other suggestions, just advice on which camera you have used out of the two that you loved. I want it mainly to just take fabulous pictures but then if I have to go in the water….((not diving)) it will take good pictures there as well. Please give me your sugestions out of these two cameras only???

I;m looking for a new digital camera thats small and compact, something convenient for travelling. I was thinking of getting the Sony Cybershot DSCT70P (the touch screen one). I was also considering the waterproof Olympus camera, because i’m going to australia and thought that would be more practical for the beach and the water and everything. Any recommendations?

I’m looking for a very cheap waterproof casing for one of my camera. I have a normal digital point and shoot and a kodak zx1 hd, so they’re not really that fancy. I ordered two cases a little over a week ago for a trip I’m taking tomorrow but they’re not here!

Can I find something like this at Wal*mart, Target, or Meijer? Maybe even Best Buy?

-high MP
-large LCD
-small, compact body
-either waterproofing (won’t be going deeper than 10 feet)
-or easy availability of waterproof housing
-easy usage–i’m seventeen and pretty decent with electronics, but would like to keep it relatively simple

and it would preferably be cool-looking. maybe available in multiple colors? but that’s really not as important.
