Tricks to take digital pictures of nature.?
I take a lot of pics in all types of natural settings. I am still a bit confused at everything that my camera (Canon Powershot A530) will do. It does give me many “AUTO” options, but that only focuses on what the camera thinks the focal point is. Also, I cannot add any additional lens’ to my camera. Does anyone have a trick they use to take a pic of something below the water without the glare (my camera is not waterproof). I know that if I could change my lens, I could get a filter, but that isn’t an option. Do you know of something I could rig, or use, or make myself? Also any other tricks that you may have found useful in the undergroth, along water, sunsets, animals, Anything nature. Thanks
You can take the digital lens and place against the lens of a binocular, rifle scope, or spotting scope and get a decent picture. I have done this on several occasions. You can also take an old mason jar and use a portable flash under water to create a ‘glow’ in evening pictures. You can also build a “water box” or take an old fish tank and get below the water line to take pictures in shallow water.
