Canon Powershot S1 IS HELP?

I cant see the pictures on my camera even just after i take them.
does any one have any idea whats going on and also where i can get an instruction manual for it on the net for free. the only one i could find was in german!!

Recording concert videos on Canon powershot s90? i only need answers from experience users of this cam?

i did a research on Canon s90 on the net cos im interested in it and was thinking to replace my damaged Nikon. The only flaw that i found is that it has no hd recording mode. I often go to gigs n concerts. So was wondering if the zoom function and the sound quality will be good if i do a recording at such places? cos i don’t want to end up like my friend’s cam, pixelated clips with noisy background. For your info, hers is from Casio. hee.. Besides, what other brands or models can i compared before making my decision? you can also mention other flaws on this cam. i need a cam which is compact in size and a mixed of dslr functions n normal digi cam.

The Canon S90 takes SD video at 640 x 480 which is so-so for out-door or well-lit indoor scene. You can’t expect very good results shooting images or video at a concert. It is sure to be dark most of the time and intermittent lighting at most. Audio will not be very good because of the small on-board microphone. Plus concert music tends to be extremely loud and you have no control over the audio input.

Check with the concert location first to be sure it’s okay to bring your pocket cam. If you can, bring it and shoot subjects nearby you and have fun.

BTW: The S90 comes with a program called ImageBrowser 6.5 for PC and Macintosh.
