Is it too late to return my camera?

I bought a Canon Powershot SX20 at Walmart over a month ago. I got it for $388 but it’s original price was $450. Lately, I’ve been on Flickr looking at photos taken with DSLR cameras since my cousin is planning on buying one.. and I kind of regret getting my camera, because the cheapest Canon DSLR is the Rebel XS which is $499, which is only $50 than my camera. I like my camera, but I hate the fact that it can’t focus on what it too and.. I don’t know. I got it on July 10th, 2010, and it is now August 21, 2010. I don’t have the receipt with me right now, my mom has it somewhere, but is it much too late to return it?

I think you need to read your manual because that camera does have the option of manual focus. It isn’t a bad compact camera really. You just need to learn how to take advantage of it’s features. That camera has all the features of a decent DSLR except for the smaller sensor size.

And you need to keep in mind that although the SX20 may cost $450, you only paid $388 for it so the XS would cost you about $100 more. Do you have the money? And I don’t know if Walmart would take it back anyway.

As someone else said you could sell it but you won’t get what you paid for it.

Canon Powershot s5 IS click wheel not working?

Ok so I JUST bought a canon powershot s5 IS and my friend was messing around with it and she dropped it. Now, no matter what I turn the click wheel to, it only recognizes auto and movie. It registers something every setting I turn it to, but it is only one of those two options. It fell upside-down…so I guess the click wheel got messed up. Is there anything I can do? A reset button? Something…?

How do I use the color accent/swap feature on my Canon PowerShot SX110 IS Camera?

does this feature even exist on my camera? i know it is on most canon cameras…i don’t know how to use it on my camera though…

The Color Accent and Color Swap features are included in a number of Canon models and information regarding this feature can be found in the ‘My Colors’ section of your User Guide.

However, if you turn to ‘My Colors’, starting on page 118…you will learn that your camera does NOT have this feature.
