How likely is it that the Genius Bar staff at an Apple Store will help me download pics from my Canon camera?

I cannot find the manual that I know I still have for my Canon PowerShot A570 IS camera, or the utilities software disk that came with it, otherwise I could probably figure out how to download the photos myself. The Canon Utilities software was not transferred onto the hard drive of a new MacBook Pro that I recently bought, so I have to download pics using iPhoto instead of the way I used to with my old iMac using Canon Image Browser, or whatever it was called. The Genius Bar staff have always been very helpful in the past, but this is not really an Apple issue and I don’t want to waste a 40 mile round-trip to the closest store if they likely will not help me.

Computer Tech people are always very helpful and just because it isnt an Apple issue doesnt mean they wont help. They have these skills and arent going to just waste them cos of a brand logo!! Ask them
