A 250A alternator is a very large item. The housing is about the same form factor as the AC compressor or a Paxton style supercharger. Make sure you have a place to make it fit before you commit to it. Of course, you will have to fabricate some custom brackets for it.
The only alternator that I know that can handle that kind of output is the Leece Neville. Delco may have something for their commercial applications, but I can’t remember. A lot of them if I recall were 24 volt models.

I’m guessing you are in need of that much current for some kind of stereo equipment. As an alternative, look into a 120A Delco alternator that can feed a solid state switch to two 12V batteries. Based on their need, the system switches charging from one to another. Transpo Electronics (Now WAI) used to make these kits.
