AVG 8.0 does not remove tracking cookies?

AVG found some tracking cookies on my computer, but not removed for any reason, and basically He said threats were found 0 ….. I never want to avira or avast! because it keeps crashing on my SI computer.Can some1 PLEASE help? EDIT: But why is AVG can not remove them? And when I close Firefox does not work, even if I close FF does not work! Why should I find tracking cookies if not removed?

I have Windows XP Professional. I went to the Internet and looked at the options for enabling cookies, but you can not find it.

You have the right idea. Open your browser, go to Tools and then Internet Options. I think it's in the Privacy tab. You can then drag the cursor up or down to change everything, or click "custom" button. The button lets you change some parameters and not others, such as cookies. Scroll through the list to the section on enabling cookies, then check the appropriate box.
