What to look for when buying a new camera? (including special needs)?
My priority is the quality of the photographs, and a reasonable zoom. It is also the ability to take moving pictures (not sure of the name). Are there any suggestions out there? Right now I'm using 7.2 megapixels 3x optical zoom Exilim Zoom EX-Z750. He took pictures of decent quality, but quality is often blurred for most of the shots, and when I have to take pictures of sports and for different lighting conditions, the device is sub-par. It is time for you to read properly & STUDY the Owner's Manual your Exilim. IMO 95% of camera problems are due to errors operator, not a fault with the camera. Of course, digital cameras are well known to the shutter delay so its hard to take pictures with them. Your camera Speed has a shot to shot 1.5 sec. with "post-injection test" with disabilities. The camera has 32 shooting modes to see. Through reading and study your owner's manual, you know what is the most appropriate to the situation where you shoot. With up to 400 ISO the camera will not be a great performer low lighting. Unfortunately, the flash is weak if its not help much either. The use of "NIGHT" or "Portrait of NIGHT" must contribute with photos taken in low light or at night. IMO, before running off to buy a new camera, you must first learn to use what you have.
