Successor to Canon Powershot S80 in the works?
Now that Canon has introduced some new Powershot digital cameras recently, does anyone know anything about a successor to the powershot s80, since it is no longer being manufactured?
None of available Powershots come with a wide angle lens, which is one of the s series’ best features
Nobody really knows, but things don’t look good for that ‘S’ line.
The image quality and features of their SD line matches and exceeds nearly everything in the old S line. I figure that it will fall by the wayside, like the ‘prosumer’ G series cameras went. (remember the G2 and G3?)
