Digital Camera won’t turn on with CF card in it?
My Canon Powershot A60 camera won’t turn on if the CompactFlash card is in it. It turns on if I take the card out. The card works fine in the card reader. I don’t have a spare card or a spare camera to test either with. Any ideas which one’s broken?
I just had the same problem happen with my Canon Powershot A85, which I have had for over 4 years. I have multiple CF cards, and none work. I know it’s not a CF card issue, I think it’s just at the end of it’s life. It powers on just fine with the card out, but once in it will not power on.
