Which SLR camera is best suited for me?

I need to find a 35mm Film SLR camera that I can manually control aperture and shutter speeds for photography course. It MUST have manual control on aperture and shutter.
I am thinking about the following based on reviews and other recommendations. Please rank the best suited for me overall from best suited to least suited. Out of the bottom four, which do you recommend? Thanks!

The Pextax K1000 is probably the prototype student camera. It’ll work without a battery (which only powers the light meter), it can be used as a blunt weapon, etc. Even so, it’s almost cult-status is only due to the ‘cheap & simple’ design philosophy… not because the K1000 is/ was a particularly good camera.
It would be my second choice, after the N90. Or maybe my first choice since it comes as a complete kit (with all of those craptacular lenses & filters.)

With the FM10, Nikon outdid Pentax’s cheapness and surveyed completely new depths of consumer grade tackiness… but it will get the job done. It’s my provisional third choice.

The N90 is the best of the bunch, although the rubber often didn’t age well. That seems to be a problem on this one, too. If the seller could convince me I wasn’t facing a repair job this would be my first choice (despite the lack of lenses.)

I’d skip the F401. The way it automates things hampers manual operation. Eg. no metering in manual mode and no options to override the meter in A or S mode.
