Nikon d90 stable photos question.?

Does the D90 have mirror lock up, and not the one for cleaning. Im looking for the one for more stable images. Is that what the shutter delay is for? and what are some ways to get sharper images with my camera, besides the obvious, i have a tripod…

If you use the exposure delay mode (page 183), use your sturdy tripod and Ml-L3 remote shutter release.

I hang a 20 pound sand bag from under my tripod when taking long, critical exposures.

The sharpest aperture setting on lenses is usually two stops down from wide open
