Can Nikon coolpix S220 Camera have a Shutter Release Switch?
Can you get a remote for Nikon coolpix S220 Camera? All I keep seeing is wireless remotes for D “whatever number” not any for s220. That mean not capable for remote?

Yeah I know about the self Timer.. I worked at a professional portrait studio, I love to take pictures, and I do at home, but I do not have a professional camera just my own personal camera. So I think it would be easier to take photos if I had a corded or wireless remote to push a butt I’m instead of being behind the camera..I Know you can get one, because I have a wireless one but its only for a camera with a inforad camera detector and my Nikon don’t have one. So I was looking for a corded one, I did find a few online, But don’t want to buy it if it don’t work with my camera and being stuck with it. All I can do is try, right? and Maybe send it back.. lol.. I don’t know.. Thanks!!
You are talking about a remote shutter release.
P&S cameras on the whole do not have such a device. To use such advanced features, you will have to buy an entry level DSLR.
Self-timers are the closest you will get to shooting remotely.
