nikon speedlight sb-28 flash
A Nikon SB-28 flash with my Nikon D40x?
I am looking for a flash for my D40x and do not want to spend hundreds of dollars on a SB-600 or 800 .. I know someone selling a cheap SB-28, but am not 100% sure if it will work with my camera .. please help me use my special camera aperture priority .. in any case the effects ..
There should be a section in the manual which shows that the Nikon flashes are compatible with the camera. Since the SB-28 is compatible with my D300, I guess it's yours, too. HOWEVER. When using Flash, you should put your camera in manual mode and adjust shutter speed for flash synchronization setting … 1/200th of a second. The meter automatically adjusts the amount of light needed for exposure if you put it in TTL flash mode. You may have to prove it at certain distances and openings. But you can make adjustments once you make a test shot.
