Does The Chinese Characters Obstruct the Progress Of China

I’m a chinese,downringt chianese.So when I saw these words about the relationship between Chinese character and the progressing of China.I was so Confused.Because I love Chinese characters so much.Although I had started to learn English at middle school,I’m not used in using English.As I don’t like to get a English name for myself,though all my colleagues have.
Yea,coumputer is playing a very important role in the modern progress.The progressing of IT guides the fields of science and technology.For an ordinary Chinese,works at IT is so difficultly.Because the english language. IT’s core technology recognize English only.
All of a sudden, I remembered many of the past..When I was learning Chemistry.we had to Remember the Periodic Table of Elements.I think foreigners are also required.But the difference is we have an extra work: To switch the chemical between Chinese and English signs.We thought Chemical processes in chinese,but we have to write the Chemical Equation in English for covenient.

I have thought that The Japanese don’t prmotion Enlish in EFA way.Why they ate always Progress rapidly. Japan’s senior IT staff are fluent in English.Do you think our senior IT staff not?So many people says that,Chinese language are short in expressioning of “Past”,”Present”,”future”.
