Nikon D40X FLASHING BLACK???
When I review a shot on my camera, the bright white spots on the picture flash black. (However, when I upload the picture to my PC it is fine.)
I was able to fix it last time by just messing around with the settings.. However, I can’t get it to work with my new, larger lens.
Help?!?! This is very annoying.
Toggle your multifunction switch up or down until it stops.
You have it set on the “Highlight” position that shows where you have overexposed the shot. Personally, I LIKE this and this is where I keep my camera set. At least you know NOW that you have to take another shot with the proper exposure while you still haev a chance to do it. Once you get home and look at the image on the computer, it’s too late. If there is no detail in the highlights, they are gone forever.
