Nikon FX lens on a DX body, vice versa?
Exactly what it says. What would happen if you put an FX lens on a DX body, and if you put a DX lens on an FX body?
DX bodies will work perfectly with FX lens, with no problems.
FX bodies will use only a part of their sensor when mated with a DX lens, so it will work, but you lose quite a bit of resolution.
If you put a DX lens on a 35mm film camera, you’re going to get vignetting and dark corners at at least some focal lengths. Unless you want vignetting as an artistic effect, don’t.
If you have an APS Pronea film camera, FX and DX lenses will both work perfectly.
