Nikon body (film and digital bodies) for old AF lens?
Ok I know my AF lens will fit most new Nikon bodies, but old AF lenses used a motor inside the camera body to run the autofocus, new lenses has the motor inside the lens just like Canon’d lenses do. So my lens will work but in manuaf focus mode.
So is there any camera body available to run the old AF system? I know i can use the lens (ED 80-200mm f2.8) on the new bodies but I would like to have the autofocus too.
I use a Nikon D80. digital with lenses that I had from my Nikon F60. They seem to work OK. Focus etc. automatically. The only difference is the lens capability.
