buying nikon d90
What camera should I buy? Nikon D90 or D300?
I have a Nikon D40, I’m an amateur photographer and hoping to get better. I take a whole range of photos.
Yes I have definetly outgrown the D40 I need a new camera. D700 is not in my price range so thats out of the question. I shall most likely go for the D90

I can’t see that the D300 has that much of an advantage, a better viewfinder, much better build quality may be, but the difference in price unless it’s a tool your going to use for your job everyday it’s probably not worth it. Don’t forget that pro’s can write a lot of the cost of their equipment off against tax.
