future nikon lenses
Nikon D5000 or Canon 500D (Rebel T1i)?
I have come to the conclusion that i’d like to buy one of these cameras, but at the moment, I am completely split between the two. I plan on not only taking photos, but using the video capturing feature aswell. This will be my first dSLR so I have no back catalogue of lenses to rely on. This purchase will decide what route of lenses I will go down into the future, so give me your best advice and of course, your decision.
I’d go with a Nikon system with Nikkor lenses (it’s all about the optical quality of the lens) over any other camera just because of the fact the Nikkor lens is the sharpest.
(many may argue to differ with my opinion but this is my experience as a former professional photographer along with years in high-end camera sales in Southern California)
