nikon 35mm 1.8 review

Why would you suggest buying a 35mm 1.8?

I’m thinking about buying a 35mm lens for my Nikon d40 and I’ve done research and I’ve read many pleasing reviews.
But I just wanted to know why you would suggest it

It will be sharper than a zoom, perform better under normal room lighting than a zoom, and will blur the background (when shot at 1.8) thus isolating your subject better than a zoom. Not bad for $200!
