How do i clean a nikon camera?
This project is due tomorrow and I have to take pictures of people working but my camera’s lens are dirty and when ever i look through the viewer thingy it’s blurry and I have no cleaning kits how do i clean the lens? and i have the film inside already so I can’t expose it. and i also tried to clean it but it just go dirtier…
A Nikon SLR?
You can take the lens off even with film inside…the shutter will stop light affecting the film.
But how much dirt are we talking about?
The back of the lens should be clean anyway, so just wipe the front lens with a soft lint-free cloth (one that leaves no bits behind).
It sounds like worrying about lens coatings are long in the past.
Try a teeny-tiny littlest drop of window cleaning fluid on your finger tip and onto the lens.
Once you’ve done the lens work the same cloth over the outside of the body.
Re the blurry viewfinder. There will be a little knob or slider on the side of it, the diopter adjuster. Try looking through the viewfinder as you adjust it. You may have moved it and it would certainly make the view blurry.
