nikon vs sony vs canon
need a new camera: sony a500 vs canon xsi?
i’ve been using a nikon d40, but i’m getting pretty frustrated with it.
I’m looking to get away from nikon and onto either canon or sony.
i’ve heard great things about both cameras, so i’m totally undecided.
any suggestions would be awesome!

i currently have a nikon d40, but i’m getting pretty frustrated with the amount of time the camera takes to auto-focus and take the picture. shutter speed is also an issue with me.
i’m looking to move away from nikon and invest in a sony a500 or canon xsi (or something similar, respectively)
lenses aren’t particularly an issue for me, considering i only use sigma lenses–
