Nikon D50 Photo Advisor?
Hello, I am currently borrowing a Nikon D50 to my school for the weekend and get a sense of self-portrait, was to do. I would like to learn how best to take a picture of myself – how to get the right focus, Flash / ISO / white balance right, how to establish a timer, and how to turn on the screen so I can see how to convert the picture in the mirror. Please advise me on how to proceed:]. Thanks xx
1. Do not drop the D50 on the rocks, which are not made to take such punishment. 2. Set the camera to manual focus. Ask a friend to sit where you can sit and concentrate in them. Otherwise use something that you can support in place, more like a broom. 3. Establish the World Bank in flash (flash-mail) and use the flash on the camera. 4. Place bulbs behind floor to see where you sit so it will not be in the frame. It is clear shadow on the wall behind you. The white balance actually does not matter for these lamps, as the background color does not matter. 5. You can see his image on the monitor. Just take a picture of the sample and see how it was released in the monitor. 6. To set the timer, press the small button with a picture of what looks like a stopwatch. Hold down the button and do turn the knob until see an icon that resembles the image on the LCD screen. Press the shutter button and go sit down. You have 10 seconds to get a seat. 7. The use of ISO 200 for better quality. Also the use of "L" and "END" for the parameters of image quality.
